Enclosed is a .zip file w/ a neat graph (sw20/sw21 production by month) and the spreadsheet I used to make it.
Looks like about 85% of all MkII's have been 3SGTE/3SGE, the rest 5SFE.
The numbers are all on the chart per chassis, the SW20 chassis is used in the US and Japanese Turbo cars, as well as the higher performance european (3SGE) and australian models. The difference is the engine option. VIN numbers aren't on the charts, chassis numbers are.
SW20 chassis is used in performance models worldwide,
SW21 chassis is used in "non-performance" models worldwide.
