Subject: MR2 Mk 1 clear lenses
The part no's I posted are those listed on my receipt from my Toyota dealer.
The parts are for a 3/90 (91) and later Camry. I'll check the packing boxes
they arrived in to see if those no's are different. They are absolutely
identical to the MR2 amber lenses only clear.

The part numbers are perfect as are the lenses. What I think needs to be
added is the part number for 'orange' bulbs since the original are clear.
That part number is: 90084-98034. They charged me $2.79/bulb and $15.19/lens.
Just thought that info might help others!

OK I've got some good news and bad news about the front
corner lights.
First the good news.... I order the lights myself and I
picked them up today. They are totaly 100% clear. There is
no yellow glass whatsoever. I prefer to have yellow
indicator lights so I ordered yellow bulbs. The bulb fitting
is slightly different from my car ('89 Turbo) but the guy
told me it's easy to adapt them with a cutter knife. He said
another guy in the garage's sales dept. who has a MR2 had
done it and if he could do it anybody could.
Each side comes in two parts; the main light and the
reflector-like-thing on the side. For those of you who want
to try and order them from your dealer wherever you are the
part no.'s (the no.'s for Japan anyway) are as follows;
Lens & body Front right 81521-17090
Lens & body Front left 81511-17090
Cover assembly right 81610-17020
Cover assembly left 81620-17020
OK so far so good:-)
The bad news.... The same garage told me that they *thought*
the lights cost about 2,000 yen each. Well, the total cost
of all four parts (plus tax) came to 9,805 yen! Lens is
3,260 yen and the reflector is 1,500 yen each. Over double
what I thought, but I'm still glad I ordered them as I
really feel they suit the car better that the stock yellow
lights.
If you still can not obtain the lights closer to home I'm
willing to send them. They're very light so the mailing cost
should be small. Just wait until next month as I'm stone
broke this month:( Anybody still interested in the lights
please email me.
