It was reported in a Canadian t.v. show that there will no more Stealth after 1995. In a recent car mag, the writer expects Mazda to announce mid-year that the RX-7 might be cancelled. The new Supra Turbo is now available only in automatic. And now after 1996 there will be no 300ZX. What's happening with all the performance cars? I purchased a Sebring muffler and i am happy with it. It has a deep note with a throaty exhaust note when accellerating, especially when the engine is cold. . Installation was a hassle though because it did not bolt exactly to the catalytic converter. Another problem is that the Sebring muffler is designed to work without the catalytic. So with the catit gives too much back pressure. I would guess with the cat. i got about 2-4hp max and tourque i did feal improvement (probably 7?). If you remove thecat. however i believe it would be a perfect muffler (probably the best) it sounds great and the volume goes away when you rolup the windows. and It looks very good! ramzi 86 Mr2 ------------------------------ From: Thomas F Wahjudi Date: Sun, 29 Oct 1995 16:47:48 -0500 (EST) Subject: Magnecore Wires My brother's '89 SC got them and so as my '82 LC. We will say that the wires are excellent. It somewhat improves engine response, according to my brother. The best thing about it is that it's cheap ($50-65 per set) and increase engine output as much as other more expensive brands. People in the Talon/Eclipse/Laser list also recommend Magnacore, so there....you got quite many Magnacore customers. ______________________________________________________________________________ Thomas F. Its never been assembled and was the only one I was able to locate in almost 3 years of looking. Molded in red, has T-tops and can be built as left or right hand drive. Its for sale at only $18 plus shipping. Email if interested. Well I don't even consider those seats anyway! Just look at some of the pics. and diagrams from the Motor Show pages where the "rear" seats are shown... HI Everybody. last weekend I blew the synchro for my second gear, would you believe that. I thought the gearbox was close 5to indestructable as you can get. Anyway, I discovered that the mr2 gearbox which shares the same components as the Celica GT4s (all trac turbo) has a lazy 2nd gear synchro. Toyota has improved it with three different kind of synchros with the latest being the best of course. I have arranged for my gearbox to be stripped and fixed by somebody who builds his own rally cars (Celica all tracs) He was quite surprised it went but he says its not a hard problem to fix. I have also discovered the possibility of putting in 13 inch crossdrilled rotors and 4 spot calipers as my front brakes. Waiting for the prices now. And this guy is a real font of info, he has a set of cams and a computerbox sitting in his workshop, which once in a 3SGTE would roughly put out 400 hp at a lazy 1.1 bar or rather 15 psi. Oooooch its expensive though, he has a couple done for his rally cars researched and developed by toyota. Nice to dream about huh ? Got to go , Meetings to attend dreams to dream.....
