I have a bit of a leak from the distributor and as everyone always says it must be the o-ring. 88 NA MKI is the car. 1. I heard that Toyota doesn't sell just the o-ring so where can I get one? 2. In the BGB it says that you have to redo the timing with a timing gun and the whole bit. Why is this so, if I take the distributor out and put it back in just the way I took it out everything should be fine, right? Or is it impossible to get it back in the same way as you took it out? The reason I ask is that I don't have a timing gun. 3. Are there any other precautions that I should be aware of? Eg. try ordering the clear corners at your local dealer, or do like I did, and try to order a Master cylinder rebuild kit..."they don't make them..." (until I gave them the part #...) The real question is SO WHAT? If the damn things work, Great! that's all that matters isn't it? We have someone here that has his springs and raves about them right? Then why fool with *if* they are official or not, and probably end up screwing ourselves out of a source for these springs?
