Thu Jul 1 13:05:54 1999 paul southgate (pm4-1-9-136.dial.nildram.co.uk) just looked at web page thinking of coming a meber
Thu Jul 1 16:27:21 1999 Aaron K. Bunjes (209-184-110-140.peppersnet.com) I have a Toyota Mr2 black in color with t-tops and it is currently not running. My question is (if anyone had the same problem) that if the car will not start eventhough the plugs have fire and there is fuel to the injectors what is the aparent problem and is it easy to solve? Otherwise, the car is great and I fell in love with it. The handling is supurb and the horsepower is awsome. I first fell in love with the MR2 when I was still in Highschool. It was a green one and ever since that time I wanted one. Now my dream has come true and every offer and attempt tried by everybody has failed to buy it. I will never let it go no matter how hard the times are or how expensive it gets. If anybody has information about this problem you can email me at "nemo645@peppersnet.com". Thanks!

Wed Jul 7 15:17:57 1999 Dave Rogers (apsn04.zeneca.co.uk) Bought my UK spec MK II SW20 GT Coupe last year, and love her to bits. She is in light metallic blue (zircon blue ?) and looks awesome. Most fun car I have ever owned, and fun had to be the factor after finally giving up my bike....just spent a shed load of cash on wheel refinishing and some paint work, tyres, cambelt etc...but worth every penny. Take care - Dave

Thu Jul 8 15:19:43 1999 Jompol (proxy-415.public.paix.webtv.net) Anybody w/the 90+mr2t might want to check out my homemade boost controller. I sold alot of these for $30 and it works better than some electronics ones. So E-mail me if you interested. I have the 91t and with some experience from the Japanese car shop I can make this thing go faster than you think.

I've been a MR2 owner now for a little over a year now. My first MR2 was an 88 na. My new one is a 91na. but the new one has all the goodies. Fri Jul 16 10:14:25 1999 Phil Morris (asn20-196.mcmail.com) I have just had the opportunity of flogging my MR2 round Oulton Park race track. The full circuit. Did about 45 laps during the day under no restrictions except "dont bend the car" Excellent racer, however a couple of skylines eclipsed me but I left the mazda MX5 for dead
Sat Jul 17 11:18:05 1999 Kathleen O'Malley (ts037d05.par-nj.concentric.net) I've been fascinated by the MR-2 ever since the car mags started buzzing about it in the mid '80s. Imagine: a sports car that's fun *and* reliable! I never read a bad word about the first generation MR-2, except once someone in Car & Driver said the A/C wasn't good. Finally in 1990 I got myself a cool black Mister, and we've been inseparable ever since. I'll still be driving "Kato" when I'm an old lady. Thanks for providing this resource for helping me track down the spare parts that'll keep him running!

I bought a 91 MR2 turbo; it has a body kit (not sure which one yet) that is molded in and has custom Mits. 3000GT red/orange paint. I don't see many MR2 s on the road so I say hello and have fun with them, both first and second generations. As stated before I would enjoy getting together with other MR2 owners. I am centrally located between Riverside and San Bern. would appreciate info on group/club meetings and locations, etc. Please email me at eddiesherman@hotmail.com or call/leave message at 909-229-2063. Sat Jul 24 00:46:32 1999 Chris Haywood (user79.starlinx.net) I have a 1992 MR2 Turbo T-Top, its is buy far the best car I have ever driven. I've had only one problem with it; after it warms up and the car runs for to long, it will shut off. I replaced the stock coil and wires, with MSD parts, but that did not fix it. I talked to an MR2 specialist and he belives it is the ignitor. It's going in to the shop in 2 days, I'll tall you how it turns out. and if your wondering how the MSD products worked, they were great, Dramatically increased rev time, and added hp, I recommend it everybody. Get MSD Super Conducter 8.5 mm wires, and a Blaster SS coil, you'll love it.

Sun Jul 25 16:33:11 1999 rob nichols (modem120.intercom.net) Owned an '86 5 speed 2 tone & sold it to be "responsible," shamefully replacing the MR-2 with a minivan. Never regretted anything so much! Am going to find another, hope for a low mileage '89, no automatics. Thought your site would be a good place to get involved with enthusiasts. Thanks!

Wed Jul 28 16:02:20 1999 Anthony Gonzales (ppp-207-214-252-3.psdn11.pacbell.net) Greetings, I've accquired a '91 non turbo MR2 and proud to say that it's the best thing that ever happened to me. I just love this car and as a novice tuner I am always eager to make improvements to it. If you want clear corner bumper lenses for your MK2 and can't afford to import the 4 piece japanese trd lenses. Contact me at my email address and I'll tell you a trade secret. I did it to my car and it looks great (slight modifications needed).

Thu Jul 29 04:04:28 1999 Adam Miller (ppp166.cu.soltec.net) I really enjoy autocrossing my '91 MK II NA with 15" alloys, 1.5" Intrax springs, Tokico Illumina adjustables, and HKS intake, but for the serious nutters out there: my buddy Carl just dropped a 3.8 liter supercharged Pontiac V-6 into his MK I!!! He brought it by today and its running well. He's waiting on a Super-Trapp to quiet things down and the speedo isn't sorted yet, but everything else is a go and it IS a monster. He has been taking pictures as the project has come along and I'm sure he will put them up when completed.
Thu Jul 29 18:28:40 1999 T. Heick III (host-209-214-169-19.sdf.bellsouth.net) Just a note to inform you of a newly formed service offered by myself and a group of my associates. We are a group of automotive enthusiasts with a good amount of tuning and modifying experience. Sickened by certain companies and trends and habits, we decided to offer a personal, unbiased source of information to the average enthusiast, free of haggling and crap. The service will eventually be provided for a small fee, depending on the length and intensity of the consultation. For now, we are offering topical consults at no cost, just to basically spread our name (Automotive Consultants), as well as learn the best way to provide the service, logistics and such. I am an MR2 freak myself, wholeheartedly believing in their potential, both generations. One of my cars, a black 92 Turbo, is currently sponsored by Blitz, and I own a 98 Integra Type-R, an 85 MR2, and a 94 Honda Accord VTEC. All are in various stages of development. Enough about myself, though. Our companies website is ! currently under development, and should be ready sometime in the next 2-8 weeks. Until then, I can be reached at BlitzMR@bellsouth.net. Good luck to you all on all of your projects. Automotive Performance is an awesome, exploding hobby, and for some, a passion. Intelligent choices will yield a finely tuned, good running car, for the minimal amount of money. My advice is to research EVERYTHING you plan to buy from sources you trust, as well as taking advice from several different people, and then deciding for yourself. If you still need help, or just want to enthuse with a fellow enthusiast, feel free to email our group. Thanks.
Thu Jul 29 18:38:17 1999 T. Heick III (host-209-214-169-19.sdf.bellsouth.net) A note on my above letter, our group also helps decide upon any type of car for any type of situation (family car or performance, new or used, etc.) We help analyze what you need, adn decide what best fits those needs, then help you source that vehicle. Just an addendum. Thanks for reading.
