Hi, I am hoping to buy a 95 Toyota Mr2 in a year or less and once I have it I would like to put on a body kit and a scoop. Something that would make my car really stand out. I was wondering if you knew of any websites that can show me what different styles of body kits they have for MR2's. I would appreciate it if you could help me out, thankyou.

I purchased a 92 metallic blue normally aspirated MR2 around 4 months ago. Unfortunately I discovered the benefits of importing turbo models after the dotted line was signed. As Toyota do not, have not and now never will sell turbo models in Australia I am very keen to experience the ride of such a model. Import tax over here costs around 48% of the purchase price and it costs around US$6000 to have imported models complied to Australian standards. Having bought the car from a dealer we could only lose money importing one now. If anyone knows the reasons behind Toyota's decision not to sell turbo models in Australia could you please e-mail me. Great web-site by the way.

Everyone check out the newest relative of the beloved MR2..

the yellow pics make it look very nice, buts lets all rally together and make Toyota give the option of more horsepower (like the 180hp celica motor)...

LOTS of information! It will take me some time to go through this site completely (visiting all the links, too.)
I have a 1985 MR2 NA that ran SCCA Showroom Stock. Its previous owner had qualified it in the top five at the Runoffs at Road Atlanta. I bought the car and blew the engine on my last drivers school. After letting it sit in my garage for ten years, I am now building the car for the ITA class.

Hi I'am Daniel from Germany. I have now two Mr2 one from 85 normaly aspirated in German conditions, but it is very fast started rusting a lot and one U.S. Version from a Mr2 from 86. It has much more things like A/C Alarm and Things like a original Toyota Subwoofer System under the Drivers Seat, but ist is not that Kind to drive like the Geman version without KAT and lambda sond. The German Version I think is much more like a Sportscar, but not so comfortable. Now this time I only can drive the U.S. Version and I love it two. It is quick enough, but I think I will put on an Sebering exhaust. I have started to modify the audio with more spaekers and new 15" alloy wheels. If you have any good and cheap tips or pictures from MR2's or you have got specially Parts from a AW11 mod. from 85 to 89, please mail me, or sens me Pictues. My Adress I can mail you if you mail to my Adress or daniel.stimpel@dvz.fh-koeln.de. I'am Interested in anything abaut this car. Thank's to the MR2 Club !

I really like your site. I have an 85 MR2 (red, of course) and I love that car. I'm 16 and my father gave it to me and it's been great for a first car. But now I've been told the bottom is starting to rust and I may have to get a new car soon. We've been looking at an 87 as a possibility but for now I'm driving the car I have. Has anyone else ever heard of the bottom of a car rusting through and softening up? What causes this, besides the obvious?

I just found my 2nd Mr2.. I originally purchased a black on black 86 MR2, which now has 154,000 miles and is running strong. A few days ago I found a rare find. An 89 supercharged MR2 !! I've been looking for 5 years and now my wait is over. It's perfect. 26,000 miles and all original. One owner who kept it in showroom shape. I honestly believe that it's a rare find, atleast in Colorado. Somebody prove me wrong. I can't sleep at nights.

Have owned a Supra Turbo (87) for over two years. Bought it used, second owner, and have had wonderful experience with the vehicle. However, it's time for a change to a smaller more economical mode of transport and I'm unwilling to give up the style. My mechanic suggested the MR2 as an alternatire and I am looking into this. Am reading with interest regarding some of the later models. Have very little time to shop-around, but saw your website and have pulled up more information which may prove valuable in my search. Thanks. With exception of smaller trunk (I carry my golf clubs around with me), this may work if i can find a unit with price range. Can you advise - other than checking Blue-Book - what are approximate prices on latest model vehicles, say between 95 ->? Thanks, again.
