Mon Nov 1 14:34:43 1999 danny (mcnat3256.martin.fl.us) Greetings all. live in or around WPB florida and own an MR2 or RX7. want to join a car club. UnderPressure Racing wants you. EMail me if you are interested.
Mon Nov 1 20:39:26 1999 Felipe Ramirez (sdn-ar-001flflauP014.dialsprint.net) I'm pleased to announce to the sw20 3sgte community that Blitz nurspec-r exhaust from japan has finally arrived. i'm also proud to announce that the first one to arrive is mine, and will be on the car 11/4/99. It arrived from Blitz to Florida monday the first of September 1999. The nurspec is an off road three inch mandrel bend exhaust single tip, with built in , and removable baffle. The exhaust will tie up to the Blitz defuser (downpipe)for the best exhaust available for the powerfull 3sgte Mr2.
Tue Nov 2 03:31:11 1999 Anders Lund (195.249.50.253) I think that MR2 are just about the coolest car you can get. When I tried driving one for the first time, it was better than sex.
Tue Nov 2 13:28:38 1999 Julie (lake81-7.lakeheadu.ca) I own a 1986 MR2. I love it. It is such a fun car to drive and handles so well. I love my car.
Tue Nov 2 15:58:48 1999 Jonathan Fisher (healthnet-bh.healthnet.com) I own a 1988 jet black supercharged MR2, with polished wheels, and it kicks butt. I love my car too much because it's just too much fun to drive.
Tue Nov 2 20:18:19 1999 tom johnson (nic-30-c25-055.mw.mediaone.net) Marc Summers letter on the HKS blow-off valve is not 100% accurate. Venting the excess boost to atmosphere is not the ticket because all that air goes directly to the MAF, by doing so this is creating a overly rich condition and can lead to backfires in the exhaust, poor gas mileage, and a black-dirty bumper. I have alot more I could say about some of the ignorance in this site but I don't have the time or space to write it! Toyota has alot of good designs that were made on the 3SGT engine for a reason, and alot of dumbasses on this site think they are engineers but actually they are making they car run slower! The point is, think of the stuff you are changing and how they might effect the car in anegative way!
Thu Nov 4 01:33:34 1999 Toth, Leif Gunnar (152.93.79.2) I don't know what to say. Well, my brother has a red MR2 with yellow stripes, it's a mod. -91. I hope to buy it from him when I get a Drivers Lisence. Well, I love Toyota and especilally the MR2. Thanks; by Leif Gunnar Toth Grasmyrvegen 13 N-5570 Aksdal

Fri Nov 5 13:28:50 1999 Ted (www.symitar.com) Greetings all! A question for the wise out there. I'm considering on changing from 10W-30 to 20W-50 (semi) senthetic motor oil (Castrol). Mon Nov 8 04:01:44 1999 John W. Behle (38.203.17.3) At Last, I found the MR2 Club. I was a member of the old Toyota sponsered one that ended quickly in the mid-90's. I've got a 92 T Bar Normally Aspirated with 140,000 miles that has seen me through nearly 8 years of fun, even on the most boring of dates.

Tue Nov 9 14:45:27 1999 Ryan (24.64.198.57.bc.wave.home.com) I recently bought an 85 mr2 fully restored and slightly modified. I haven't really driven it much but from my experince so far it is an exiting car to drive, and with the tokiko suspension it corners on a dime!(I only wish it wre easier to get at the oil filter!)-however I find the owner's page very informative and helpfull, it's cool to see what other's have done and what's in the market for parts and such.
Wed Nov 10 15:16:37 1999 Kyle Thomas (prxy5.nwbl.wi.voyager.net) I just bought a 1985 MR2 and I love it. I just got new racing tires and i plan on buying a High Flow exhaust soon. Any suggestions? email me please. Kyle
Wed Nov 10 18:25:55 1999 Jamie Ernspiker (spider-wb013.proxy.aol.com) I've always loved the MR2 and I am ecstatic that it will be back in the U.S. in spring of 2000. I'm so glad it won't be called an MRS like the prototype was being called. I'm sure more people will buy a Honda S2000 because it'll be faster, but the MR2 is supposedly going to be cheaper than the S2000 and I think it looks better. Power isn't everything.
Thu Nov 11 04:41:34 1999 harry (206.8.222.113) dude i like your web page man. cool.

Sat Nov 13 11:18:43 1999 Sunny (7of9.wellsfargo.com) I just wanted to say hi to all the owners and potential owners out there. I currently have an 86na. I'm working on turbo charging it. I already have the manifold already. With the hardest step out of the way, I hope to be rebuilding this midengine classic really soon. I also saw a 91T for about $3K, so things might change very soon if it turns out to be in good condition. It would be nice to have two turbo mr2's. One for drag (mk1 of course) and one for street. My current mods on the na are: thermal exhaust, 87+tailights, clear turn lenses, intrax springs, tokico hp shocks, jap spec 4age, cone filter, sc rims, and sleepy eyes. Have fun driving.
Sat Nov 13 13:42:41 1999 bruce armstrong (maxmp-155.rain.org) found a perfect '88 '2 and am researching suspension mods for autocross work but don't want to make an unstreetable monster out of a very usable car.....

Tue Nov 16 09:40:26 1999 Anon (ppp194-78.smartlink.net) I have just in the past six months began to drive my fathers '90 Mr2 v4 turbo manual transmission. I enjoy driving it. The car looks nice but I think red would look racier.
Tue Nov 16 14:19:44 1999 Jamie (ppp450.bcpl.net) I just recently bought a white 1986 Toyota MR2 (Sept. 6, 1999). It has leather interior, it's auto trans., air conditioning, heater. I am currently repairing two new rust spots, redoing the leather, adding exhaust pipe extensions, new shocks and tires, a JVC El Kameleon Anti-Theft CD Player, a RUSH bumper sticker, and repainting the MR2 fire red with a yellow/orange flame on both sides. This car is my pride and joy, and I'm only 16! WOOOO!

Fri Nov 19 21:30:55 1999 Gene Wong (nimbus.singnet.com.sg) I am thinking of getting a MR2 but it is like a car i know little of so coming to yr web site, perhaps i can learn more abt it. What are the pros and cons of getting the car? (honestly!) Currently i am driving a 96' honda civic and upgrading to a turbo charge car is an idea i have been toying with. Well all the best to u guys!
Sat Nov 20 06:35:58 1999 Rex Van Zant (tc2-108.dip.iei.net) After years of lusting for a MK II, I finally became an owner in late July '99. I was fortunate enough to find a '91 n/a T-bar with just 64,000 miles. Just over four months later the car now has 71,000 miles, most of it commuting 104 miles round trip five days a week. As the Indiana winter sets in I will no doubt fall back on my 86 Toyota truck or our 91 Celica. The MR2 is Nautical Blue metallic, blue cloth interior, with after-market CD player. Initially I thought I might keep the car for another two years and then trade for a new MR2 Spyder, but the Spyder will really have to impress me a lot to give up this one. My second great surprise was accidentally finding this website. Great source of information, club contacts and fellowship with like-minded enthusiasts.

Sun Nov 21 06:00:12 1999 Kenny Campbell (ip18-183.cafes.net) Just purchased my second MR2. It's a red '93 w/t-tops and 5 speed trans. My first was a red '92 w/sunroof and 5 speed trans. I sold my first one to buy my wife a car and missed the car every day until I bought the '93. It's absolutely the best car I have ever driven. It handles like it's on rails. Bring on the curves. This car will chew them up and spit them out! The MR2 is a blast to drive.

After driving along with my fellow Mustang GT friends, I know I made the right choice in my car. I love it, it runs great, and it looks great. I can't what to trick it out, and really blow some socks off.

I was recently a Honda fan, I just want something different, this web site has convinced me to learn more about Toyota's. My favorite body style is the MR2. What is the best performing year? I'm a performance freak. What would be the best for me?

Tue Nov 30 07:12:32 1999 John Tripp (66015.rpa.com) After 30 years of owning every early Porsche model, my creeping geezerism and kids-in-college poverty syndrom have sent me on an expedition to find a more economically manageable sportscar that has these attributes: A kick to drive but has personality- unlike the overengineered cars of today; Will not strand me up in a mountain road in Timbuktu like classic cars can do; has a musical engine and exhaust note; air conditioning; a t-top; costs under $12k for a car owned by an anal retentive sportscar freak, and upkeep is more reasonable than paying over $500 for a service. Having never been near an MR2 this website is my first grade tutorial toward a decision in purchasing something in the winter of '00 in Southern California. Great website!
Tue Nov 30 10:30:54 1999 Chad Cattell (proxy.grcmc.org) I just bought a 91 mr2 turbo with T-tops and was browsing the web for a few parts and to get some info. Great site, keep up the good work, I know I'll be back here again. Thanks
