Sat Dec 4 14:08:19 1999 Larry Brotherton (host5-99-56-246.btinternet.com) Surfing the web and coming across the excellent MR2 Owners Club was he reason that I first got interested in the latest model, the MRS. Now I have just taken delivery of a brand-new RHD Toyota MRS, imported into the U.K. directly from Japan. The vehicle is finished in brilliant red, and looks exactly like the one on the Toyota web-site. I drove it from Stoke-on-Trent to Bristol on Thursday 2/12/99 for the SVA, and it certainly got a lot of attention on the way. If anyone is interested, I am considering selling it now, as I also have another car on order. The number is 01727-854815 (Larry).

Sun Dec 19 09:47:07 1999 Rich Carpenter (spider-th042.proxy.aol.com) i am buying an 1986 Toyota MR2. A "project car" by no small means as it is advertised in the paper. It is missing the molding around the doors, and windshield, plus the windshield is busted. the body is in decent shape, but the lights, mirrors, and body trim needs to be replaced/repaired. This is going to be a decent looking vehicle once it's done. I'll have to take pics and send 'em in. Thanks for listening to my babbling.
Sun Dec 19 11:08:55 1999 Chris (kln2-tuy.atm-bb.de) A QUESTION !!! HELP NEEDED!!!! Im a owner of an MR2 Turbo , 92, i live in Germany , could somebody tell me where i can buy parts ( Tuning and other) in Germany ????? Help please !!!
Sun Dec 19 11:53:30 1999 Bill Lupien (spider-wb013.proxy.aol.com) I recently bought a 1993 MR2 turbo and am absolutely in love with this car. It is fun to drive, gets looks from other motorists, and goes like a bat out of ----. I do have a question however, about the cool down of the turbo. After driving at highway speeds it needs about two minutes to cool down. Now here is my question. I travel about three miles of back neighborhood roads after I get off the highway. This takes seven or eight minutes. Does this give the turbo time to cool down properly?
Mon Dec 20 02:37:51 1999 Lee Boak (212.127.1.66) 2 x '98 MR2 T-Bar Turbos (red). Had them both for a few months now. Use one as a daily driver, the other sits in the garage and only used on summer weekends! Hate the fact that they aren't sold in the USA anymore. Hate the fact that the new one (out in 2000) isn't as nice looking as my ones so will hold on to mine for ages!

Wed Dec 22 16:08:05 1999 Loretta Brasher (208.18.119.73) I owe a black 1993 MR2. I found "her" last year at a used dealership here in Alb. NM. Is he beatiful. She only had 10K miles on her when I bought her and now has merely 20K. I believe I saw a cup holder that fits into the dash and you pull it out to use and it retracts back when not in use? I saw it in a Japanese catalogue and cannot find it now. Have anyone seen it?

Sun Dec 26 10:50:25 1999 Brent Goldfinch (cache7.ihug.co.nz) Fantastic website. My partner Juanita and I are looking at buying an MR2 and with the information contained on this website we have now decided that an MR2 is a far superior car than the Mazda MX5, which we were looking at initially. Juanita and I are from New Zealand and there really is only two sports cars to chose from in the lower price range. We took one for a test drive a few days ago, and for a female she loves the "horsepower" that the MR2 can deliver, grin factor ten I say!!! Well keep up the good work and please keep in touch with any suggestions/ideas. Thanks.
Sun Dec 26 15:28:46 1999 Rene Keyzer-Andre III (twhou-214-165.ev1.net) This site is great and has given me a grat deal of information as a new MR2 owner. I used to own a 1970 MGB, and I just purchased a 1986 Red MR2. I am looking forward to have a lot of fun with it.
Mon Dec 27 00:29:35 1999 Micki Harriman (spider-wm051.proxy.aol.com) I had an accident which wasn't my fault... I have a 86 Mr2 in great shape... I finally convinced the insurance co. not to total my car... Wow they did it and agreed to if i didn't use new parts... I have my baby back and just so you know how much I love my car... my husband said he is going to bury me in it.
Mon Dec 27 19:54:14 1999 Melissa Strunk (spider-tk073.proxy.aol.com) I have had my MR2 for over a year now and it is the best car that I have ever owned!

Tue Dec 28 20:54:32 1999 Mark Walden (dialup-166.90.45.161.SanFrancisco1.Level3.net) Greetings, I'm hoping you can help me locate an individual or business that will finish the installation of a 95 turbo gst w/5speed trans into a 92 MR2 that was non-turbo w/auto trans. The turbo engine and transmision is in the car. I had hired a shop to perform the transition, and assured me that he could with no problem. There were parts and pricing issues that arose unexpectedly with no options. I retrieved the car and have it here at my home in Rodeo, CA. I've spent 3,000.00 on the engine and trans from Ron's Engines, which is in excellent condition. I can furnish a shop or work area, or I can trans port the car to where ever. I you can assist, please reply. Much appreciation in advance! Mark Walden 912 Mahoney Street Rodeo, CA 94572 510-799-4730 FAX 510-799-3115 jmwalden@earthlink.net
Wed Dec 29 20:13:42 1999 TJ James (mail.fwha.org) I raced SCCA Solo II last year for the first time, and used my Mustang. It was fun, but at one of the races I saw an MR-2, and knew instantly that the next season, JAMESGANG RACING (me) would be featuring an MR-2 instead. I jumped on the net and found this site, which is absolutely excellent. I have learned quite a bit, and am looking forward to the upcoming season. TJ James
Thu Dec 30 07:36:34 1999 Paul Beyerl (ip-206-190-28-158.gardnerbender.com) I just bought a 93 MR2. It had 58,800 miles on it when I bought it. It came from Florida so its in great shape. Of course, it's red with T-tops. It came without a front license plate holder. I'm told that I must have one in Wisconsin, but I hate to mess up the looks of the car. Any reports of being pulled over in Wisconsin? The car has a factory CD play that tries to play. Sometimes, I'll get the first few seconds of a song, then it stops. Any suggestions? regards, Paul
Thu Dec 30 09:00:25 1999 George Greenway (host149.nsg.navy.mil) I have a Red 1987 MR2 in that I must part with, sadly. It is the best driving, most responsive, car that I've ever owned, but we now have two kids and we just can't keep a two seater. I figured folks that come to this site might be willing to offer a new home..she's in great superb mechanical condition and looks great. I'm in Pensacola Florida, but can deliver to you if interested.
Fri Dec 31 15:21:28 1999 David A. Hancock (1Cust38.tnt2.atlanta2.ga.da.uu.net) O.K. Mr. MR2 Killer, sure the supra is quicker and or faster. I have always liked and respected the supra - sweet car BUT when it comes to looks its MR2 hands down. These babys got SEEEEX APEAL. My Ferrari Red (had it painted-high end) 93 Turbo T Top constantly turns heads everywhare i go. Im sorry but the supra looks like just another japanese car, its not that distinguishable, but the MR2,those swoopy lines, that rear window, the raised louvers (italian?) ooh baby, oh what a feeling. Sometimes its not the fast, its the feeling that counts. (my car is PLENTY fast) see ya on the road sometime.
