I have a 79 MR2 Turbo. Its an oldy but a goody. I park next to my pond on my farm in Dodge, Kansas. Anyway, I probably have about 169 ducks, ya know, boch mallards, mallards, wood ducks etc... This one bastard boch mallard likes to go inside my hot ride and poop all over my vinyl over red seats. It takes a heck of a lot of rubbin and scrubbin to get that feathered fowl fecal matter off of those bitchin seats. Well got to go, piece out and keep lovin the Honda MR2.

I am the original owner of a 1985 MR2 whci is still in excellent
condition. The car has been sparingly driven mostly during off
winter months and has 42,000 kilometers. It has never given me trouble!
Only work done is adjust the clock except for regular oil change, etc. and muffler repalcement, and tires. It still looks brand new!!!!

I just acquired a 1985 MR2 from my neighbor. The engine had been rebuilt a few years ago and was doomed to failer because of sloppiness on the rebuilders part. The head gasket was distorted, all 4 pistons were broken,injectors were leaking. What a job to repair, when a little care would have made it a nice vehical. Any how it's fixed and running fine.

You don,t even have to drive it to enjoy it,God!! you can just look at its lovely curves and contours

Dear Mr2 owners and enthusiasts.
I would like to know if some of you would be interested in an Mr2 event or drive. It would start in Ottawa Ontario Canada and finnish in Mont Tremblant Québec. This road has various qualities. It has a short highway but also sets a beautiful course through the Laurentians passing near lakes. With out a doubt, driving the tight corners is a trip on its own. Six hundred Porsches for their annual owners club do it every year. Furthermore, I work for Fairmont Hotels,(5 star) and Canadian Pacific hotels (5 star) . Hence, we would get a special discount. This would be a weekend affair. Mont- Tremblant for those interested offers beautiful europeen town atmosphere, lakes, country side, many golf courses, downhill mountain biking and a race track for those who want to try their Mr2's out. I have 2 Mr.2's and i love em both. One is a 1991 n/a and the newest is a 1992 turbo. If anyone could answer my question I would greatly appreciate it. I recently installed a blitz boost controller into my 92 and I ran a clean 14.5 up here in Colorado in the qtr. mile. That was at 15 pounds of boost. NOw a couple of weeks ago I had the boost set at 15 pounds and I punched it against some cobra mustang. I beat him but when I came to a stop my car shut off. It would not start for a couple of hours and then it finally did, although there was dark black smoke coming out the head and the exaust. It wouldnt hold at a steady idle and kept dying after a couple of seconds. A couple days later it started running fine again and i havent had a problem since then. What exactly happened? If anyone could tell me I would greatly appreciate it!!!!!

I live in the UK, I am 20 years old and am currently modifying a 1989 1600cc MR2. I have added a performance air intake (K&N 57i Kit), full performance exhaust system (Janspeed), boost valve (FSE). Does anyone know what the next best step would be without spending silly money?

hello i have an 87 MR2with t-top.i dont know much about them ,but i love my car!! i had a couger but it wasnt what i wanted,so i bought an MR2.its white with a bra,the car runs great and hopefully soon i can upgrade the engine. the only problem i have with the car is that it rattles at 4500 rpm,other than that my car can pick up speed very well,i hope to learn more about my car.i hope every1 else enjoys this vechile the way i do!:)

I have visited this site numerous times in the last 3 weeks and have found it incredibly informative. It all started with my boyfriend telling me he had a birthday surprise [hints: Japanese, 2-door, mid-engine (dead give-away but still didn't want to get my hopes up) 5-speed, sporty car] Searched the Net and VOILA--here was this site.
