I cannot decide between a Mk1 Superchanrged or a Mk2 Turbocharged. I will be leaving to the military and with my money I will create a project car. I have chosen the MR2. It is a small light wieght sports car with a powerfull engine. I know this car has much potential. I want to be prepared to know exactly what need to be done to create this "To be Beast" to run mid eleven seconds in the quarted mile and produce a fearful three hundred horses. and yes i do want it as a daily driver on base and at home when I return. The Engine and Transmisson will definately be rebuilt for maximum performance. Please E-mail me and put your imput on this project.

Anyways I am 15 and I had just got a '91 mr2 about two months ago and was working as many odd jobs as possible to get as much money as I needed to deck out my car. Stock my car is one of the best looking cars in town. but just last week I had gotten into a wreck and there goes about 600 bucks of mine and I was just wondering if anyone has a website that sells cool looking front bumpers and such for my car I have found one that is cheap but the shipping and handleing is almost the price for the bumper. so please e-amil me if you have any websites. Also I am now ruching to get my car fixed cause the sooner it's done the sooner I go to driving my car so anyone with info on front bumper covers, the actual bumper itself the protects the radiator or a hood thats pretty well pticed please e-mail me. To date, I've put over 143,000 miles on the car since its purchase in 889. Except for the standard wear and tear related items (and 1 serious rear ending), I can say I've had minimal problems.

I have looked at the greddy and other turbo upgrades but it is only for the turbo engines.

Regretfully, my place was robbed, they found the keys, used my MR2 as a gettaway car, couldn't drive standard (thus couldn't handle the car!) and parked it under another vehicle - that's right - my MR2 was wearing a Ford Festiva for a hood ornament! Remarkably, the front end wasn't crushed! some bumper, cornerpannel and passenger headlight assembly dammage, but still drives! Tough little things these cars are! Impressed! However, my insurance co. will likely write it off. what a waste! A perfect platform for a restoration. If I only had a garage and the time.(groan). However I have run into many problems with this motor, so I have decided to do a total performance rebuild. The block and head are going to the machine shop this week. I can't wait!

Everything is stock (for now) and it is in great condition. I am in Japan so of course the drivers seat is on the other side. I just wanted to say this is by far the best car I have ever driven! I was wondering if you think it is worth it to bring it back to the states with me, I mean is it pretty hard to find over there? Because its going to be wierd driving on the other side of the road in the Japanese car. Thanks! And have fun, I know I am.

I'm the proud owner, since last year (2001)of a mk11 1991 red non-turbo with 60000 miles on it, the previous owner had 57 years old and was living in California. The car is perfect, it's my baby, she stay in my garage and i only take her out on sunny days. I put 4x16" rim on it, that were coming from an Honda S2000 and they fit perfectly. I love your site!!!
