From 0 to 100 in less then 6 seconds, that's enough for a real racing feeling, en the koni suspensions only enlarges that feeling, when i make a turn with a nice speed. I'm just an 18-year old student from Holland, but I know for sure that my 'poor man's Ferrari' will be driven by me for a very long time!!

I am signing the guest book because I would like some help. I am the original owner of a black 88 MR2 SC (California car) with about 70k miles. The car has been well cared for and uses Mobil 1 and has 17" wheels (I have the originals, too). The car is unmodified, rust and dent free, and has been driven by my wife. I would like to know where to start fo find out what the car is worth and how best to sell it. We like the car but my wife wants some more room and at the age of 56 it's time for her to start driving the Volvo (her words). The car has had a major service and just about everything has been done, cam belt, tranaxle oil, brake fluid, raidiator flush, new drilled rotors with metalick pads, new tires etc. I would like to think I could get it to a person that knows with a supercharged MR2 is and would like to find such a car.

VIN #JT2AW16J9K0154467. I have been told there was something like 1,600 of these vehicles built as U.S. models in 1988 and 1989. I was told there was also a limiited edition model that had 330 horsepower and that there was as few os 70 of these high powered versions built? Please let me know if this information is true or not. The MR2 is an excellant, economical sportcar for those of us in midlife who finally have an opportunity to indulge their youthful fantasies.
