When I was 16, my parents bought me a 1987 MR2 for the sole reason that I wouldn't stop begging them for one. I'd never driven one, but I was so incredibly in love with the ones i saw on the road and on car lots that I wouldn't shut up. Finally they relented, and I had a glorious two years in high school picking up chicks and racing with friends on backroads. When I went off to college, I had to sell it.very regetably.
Yesterday, I broke my wife down and bought another one. It's now been 10 years since my last MR2. I thought about buying a Spyder, but I didnt like it nearly as much as the MK1's. So I plunked down a measly $4,000 for a reconditioned 1986 in excellent shape. Thank God I did. I want to sleep in it. The memories it brought back of racing backroads I hope to duplicate very soon.
I'm very glad I found this site so I can communicate with other MR2 lovers. There's just something special about those little cars.

I'm in the midst of purchasing a 1991 MR2 Turbo with 129,000 km's, my 1985 was lost in a garage fire(very sad day). I test drove the turbo and it's just as fun as my old one exept faster! I can't wait to get back on the road again and test it against my buddy's 5 litre Mustang MR2's rock!!

Hi, I have a '91 non-turbo and I had a minor fender bender which just messed up the front bumper cover and I decided to replace it with an aftermarket bumper. I Looked around and I started to like the bomex style bumper's. I stumble upon www.importtrenz.com and the had a they claimed that the sell authentic bomex parts. So I bought it from them at $290. A week passed no bumper and I am getting a little angry. I finally get a call from them and they say I have to pay an extra $80 on account that there computer messed up and gave me a business shipping price rather than a residential. I tore them a new one and they finally decided to send it from $290 on account of their mistake. Well 2 whole weeks after that I still haven't recieved my bumper and I called them and they said that they had sent it and they gave a tracking number from

some shipper I have never heard of. So I checked it out and it said to call them to find out about it. I called them and they said it's been sitting on their dock in Kansas city Missouri (I am from Kansas City Kansas) and they were waiting for my call to deliver. So a week and a half after that call I finally recieve my bumper at 10pm at night at a gas station. Now you would think all the stress and mahem is gone. Wrong I start putting it up to my car I notice that the mouth of the bumper was crooked and was bowed in. The lines that were supposed to be straight were wavy, and were it was supposed to line up with the fender it was off in some spots half an inch. It took a total of 10 hours to get the bumper to fit right on the car after shaving inches off of the edges. We still haven't fixed the mouth problem. I contacted them about the problem and they never responded and I called them and they put me on hold and hung up. I have made my decision up on never doing buisiness w!

Hey everyone! My name is kelli. I am only 15 years old. I was chilling in my 10th grade Keyboarding class and thought it would be cool to check out this site. My 20 year old brother has a black MR2 and is giving it to me on my birthday in July!! I can't wait! I take pictures of his car everytime he comes to town and cannot wait until its mine!! I just Bought a 86 Mr 2. & Holy crap !. Currently running a impressive 14.1 down the 14 mile, it has no prob' taking down the local Skylines & GTX's. Powered by a 14 pound pully kit from HKS & TRD go fast bits. I've never had so much fun @ 200+kmh. MR2s are my new love of my life.

for all of u who r saying ur mr2's r quicker than the honda del sol please get ur facts straight! i own a honda del sol (crx) vtech and it woops an mr2 off the lights. a standard del sol has an extra 8bhp more than a non turbo mr2 and it is twice as light. my brothers m8 owns an mr2 non turbo and he will tell u that my del sol beats it! my del sol still beats the turbo ver off the lights but as for top speed then obviously the mr2 wins.

Umm. Who let a "HONDA" on a real mans car site? Then they let him say that it's faster than a non-turbo and turbo off the line. I gaurantee that my non-turbo would smoke your little "SOL" off the line and down the track. 13.4 in 14 mile. THANKS

They are on ebay just enter in this item number into the search and it will pop up: 1873758162 You can buy them now for $500 with free shipping. They look really good on the '91 to '95 MR2's. There are a lot of pics of them on the ebay page. The bolt pattern is universal 5x100 and 5x114.3 and I gaurantee they will fit on a '91 to '95 mr2. They have never been mounted. I am selling because I have found an excellent deal on 18"x9 (F) and 18"x10 (R) BLITZ 03 Rims. So here's your chance for a set of great looking rims for an even better car cheap.
