Hello All,
This is my second MR2, I previously owned a Blue 1985 MkI, which I enjoyed 
so much that when I decided to get a newer car, I opted for the newer model,
turbo charged, of course!  While most people I know who own sports cars opt not
to test the true performance of their vehicles, I choose to by autocrossing
whenever I can (like this weeekend!) If you haven't driven your MR2 to the edge,
you're not living.  My suggestion would be to contact your local regional chapter
of the SCCA and inquire when the next local autocross is and attend. You'll be
glad you did, it's a lot of fun, safe, and you can see what your car was 
designed for.
