This is the second MR2 that I've owned - my first MR2 was a
'91 Mk2 Coupe,
which amazed me with the handling of the car, even if the engine wasn't
as powerful as the more common UK Model.
In April 1998 I began to look for a replacement - and after test driving both a UK Spec 174 bhp car and a 225hp Japanese Imported turbo, I decided the only way to go was with a turbo, if I could find one.
Being fussy about buying the right car, I took my time and it wasn't until three months later that I'd found and bought an imported Turbo - which is my current car.
