172 normally aspirated MR2 T-Top coupes were built in `95 for sale in the
US. This was down from 908 in `94. This was the last one in my sales
region ... probably one of the last in the US. This made the price
negotiations difficult.
Although I see 135 HP listed in the stats for 93-95 models, the `95
specific numbers that I have seen quoted 140 HP. All `95 coupes came with
stock 225 50 VR 15 Yokohama's rear, 195 55 VR 15's front. This proved to be
fun when I went tire shopping - all of the shops argued that tires of
this size would not fit the car. It would seem that the "last run"
differences of the 95's versus earlier year models are not as well
documented as one would hope.
Extras:
HKS Super Power Flow Induction.
Jacobs Ultra Team Ignition Package.
Borg Warner Spiral Wound, Silicon wire set.
Constantly on the lookout for more goodies! After market stuff seems as
rare as the car so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
