I drove a MR2 briefly in college and was hooked - then drove another in January
of 1996 from San Fran to Santa Cruz and beyond, was very impressed and started
a journey to find one with no rust. ..just got (feb 97) one from a dealer
AS/IS - which had it's original spark plugs intact - ran rough -with that in
mind of previous maitenance... replaced all the belts and fixed the hole before
the exhaust pipe and a tune-up and off it goes...
not fancy - has a sunroof/air/5sp gets 32 MPG with 87 fuel...my other vehcile
is a pick-up truck...
questions to all
1. What is a reasonable ($$) set of tires after these wear out - remember mud
and snow and crappy roads
2. What are reasonable ($$) but stiff struts and can i really install them
myself?? - no garage though...
3. Any other must haves......?
