I'm from England but living and working in NZ for two years. Which is why I'm able to insure MR2 Turbo. In the UK, insurers would still be laughing three days after I'd make an initial enquiry. What I want to know, if anyone's reading this, are the RIGHT performance figures for a 1990 MR2 Turbo. The figures on the Net, all US sourced, of course, range from the obviously wrong 5.6 seconds (it's quick, but it's not that quick) to the wildly conservative 8.0 seconds. Also, top speed claims vary from 137mph to 150mph. Please, someone tell me the bastard truth! By the way, they're good cars aren't they?
