I first owned a 1986 MR2 that was tan in color, It was a big improvement in handling and performance over my 1984 Celica that I bought when I was 16. I was very impressed by the MR2 and thought about fixing it up to keep as my Toy forever, but the rust on the car pretty much ended that thought along with the rising repair costs.
While I was lunch one day, I noticed an add in the newspaper that had another MR2 for sell at a price I could afford. Ever since I was a kid, I had always dreamed of having a sports car with a 4 cylinder engine that was turbocharged and would haul but. Needless to say after I had seen the car, I feel in love. I went out the next
day and got my loan and purchased it. I finally own my dream car. The car is a rocket ship. So far I had the car up to 135 mph and let off the gas (so I wimped out of the 145 potential, but I'll get there some day). It's great to take out the T-tops and feel the wind go through your hair. Taking the car through the S-curves is fun and
then coming out you here the turbocharger spining and a rush of adrenlin pins you to the back of your seat while at the same time your getting ready to whip through the next curve. Toyota I love what you do for me. (Except for the high cost of repairs)!!!
