I bought this dream machine at the age of 16. My 1985 MK1 had 58,000 original km
and was 8 years old at the time. Over the past 5 years it has turned 107,000 km
and still running as good as ever. I recently had it painted 95 Mustang Yellow
and it seems to me to be the best colour for this car. My only major problem
with it right now is rust on the front airdam and along the rear fenders. I have
also raced it at local autocross events on my allseason tires warping them to
hell and back but it was worth it. I now plan to invest in a set of Dunlop
D40 M2 195 55VR 14 as use them at the track to really get a sense of how this
car can handle if you guys don't already know.
Modifications include:
Momo Competion shift Knob
CSA alloy wheels
PIAA 1000 Projector Beams (Worth every penny)
Future Plans:
Momo Sport Steering Wheel
TRD spark plug wires
K&N air filter
D40 M2's
Good Driving School for driver
This is the best car I have ever owned! This is the only car I have ever owned.
The only car that I would give this one up for is a new MkII Turbo but even
then it will be a tough decision.
