Purchased used from a Ford dealer in the Chicago area in Nov. '94, with
15,000 miles.  I appear to be third owner.  Body & interior (blue cloth)
immaculate, but engine bay was fairly groddy with Chicagoland street gunk.
The car was built in January of '92 but is clearly the '93 model, as it
has the 15-inch wheels (195/55 front, 225/50 rear) and lowered springs.
Purchased as my mid-life crisis car, I autocrossed it -- and me! --
for the first time in 1995 (winning C stock here in St. Louis and Southern
Illinois SCCA regions).  Aside from getting a set of wheels for autocross
tires (five-spoke, from Ultra Wheels at a third of what I was quoted for 
used stock MR2 wheels!), the only substantive improvement I've made was
to install adjustable shocks (Konis) -- WOW, quite a handling improvement!
What can I say; I love this car.  The styling, balance, feel and features
are near to what I'd consider perfect.  I can see now why the second
generation MR2s were called the "poor man's Ferrari."  I'd do it again in
a second!  What a shame '95 was the last year.
