I just bought this beautiful dark green MKII on 10/15/97. Unfortunately, I had to trade in my red '89 MR2 MKI with 80000 miles. I REALLY wanted to keep both cars so I could be a TOTAL MR2 snob, but it was just not financially feasible.

I hope to track that same '89 down someday and bring it back to minty new contition. It's like your father buying and restoring an old TR or MG like the one he had when he was a pup. He just had to wait until your cash- sucking carcass was out of the house. But this MKII is really my dream car (next to a '95, of course) and i do love it. I hope you love yours, too.
