The last car that I owned was a 1968 Datsun 1600 - at least the body was! Since
then a plethora of Company Commodores, Falcons, Magnas and Camrys. Finally I
was able to chose a proper car. There really was no choice - it HAD to be the MR2.
Since then the car has remained stock standard. In recent times I have had the
pleasure of taking it onto the track - Oran Park to get a CAMS licence, then
Wakefield Park to compete in a Super Sprint. I've got to say that I upset a
lot of people that had spent big bucks modifying MX5's (Miata's), Datsun 260Z's,
Ford Escort's and even Datsun 1600's, when I took out second place in the
"Road Registered 1600 - 2600 cc" class. I LOVE THIS CAR!!
Just don't tell the boss - he's paying the lease and insurance on this rocket...
