I recently purchased a 1991 Toyota MR2 MKII Turbo. After owning a 1994 Hoda Civic EX V-TECH, the power in this mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, two seater is outrageous. The fastest E.T. I could get out of myy fully suped up civic was high 15's. The MR2 does better than that stock.
The first upgrade that I did was to add a Greddy Airinx which did give me a little added ponies. I now have a Greddy exhaust, 10mm Magnecor wires, Jacobs electronics ignition amplifier, jacobs coil, Greddy ProFec, and an ARC intercooler. To keep things sticking on the ground I got a great deal on a set of used Acura NSX wheels. The offset on the two cars did have its problems but after a little modifications i got them to fit.
