Hey man, it's the perfect car :) What can I say? I love it, and since
purchasing it in February of '97 (73,00km old at the time), have never
been dissappointed.
MODS:
HKS Exhaust, 3" with 120mm tip
HKS PowerFlo airfilter
HKS Super BOV (Blow Off Valve)
HKS FCD (Fuel Cut Defenser)
Removed VSV (too much weight! :)
Intelligent Turbo Timer
Custom Pedals
Custom Shifter
Autometer Boost Gauge (mounted in place of cigarrette lighter)
Twin Socket System for powering those pesky devices that need a cigarrette lighter socket for power
16" BRS Poison alloys, running Khumo Ecsta 205/50 front Toyo Proxy T1 225/45 rear
This set up is very cool; my boost is peaking at about 13.5psi at the
moment, which just aint good enough for me :) There's possibly been some
other mods done in Japan prior to its trip over here, but who can tell? I
(of course) need more power, so:
PLANNED MODS (in no particular order):
Remove catalytic convertor, replace with straight pipe
Valve/Wastegate Controller
Bigger Intercooler
Cold Air Box
Suspension upgrade w/ lower springs
Radar Detector (!)
Partial Aeroware Body Kit (everything but the rear spoiler pieces)
Some kind of ducting system for the air box, maybe a TOMS scoop?
There's some other stuff I'd like to do, but that list should keep me
happy for a few years yet :) This is not hard and fast, and I'm really
just kicking ideas around. We'll see what works and what doesn't - if
you've got any ideas, then just drop me a line!
