I bought my car from a dealer two years ago. I am the third owner, and very proud of my car. It had 43,000 miles on it when I bought it, and drive it as little as possible. T-tops, power windows/mirrors/locks, not-turbo, ground effects, tint, AWSOME stero, spoiler, visor.
Sense I bought it, I have installed two stereo systems. The first one was stollen, and the second was replaced with insurence money. It consists of 6 speakers in the cabin, and two 12-inch woffers in the back trunk. I use two amps to drive it all. If you have any questions as to how you can install a stero of this size, contact me and I will turn you to a very compitent place from home.
I have had a few problems with my car though. I have had to replace two brake calip. Also, do not try to drive two solo-beric speakers off of the battery alone. It will distroy your altinator. Also, I found out a few weeks ago that I have to fix the differensial on the passanger side of the trans. A bearing is bad, and the cost will be over $1000 to fix.
Last remarks: Avoid the dealership in Bllomington. They do not train their employees well enough to work on the MR2. In my experience, I have had to take my car back at least once after they have worked on it to fix problems!
