Hi There! My MR2 is an orginal Jap Turbo model, Australian complied. I have
recently put a 5 Zigen 3" exhaust, cold induction kit & electronic turbo boost
in...this thing hammers... 5.5 secs to 100K !!!!
Still working on tuning the handling. I need more neg. camber for the track ( I do
supersprints & have been beating a few Ferrari 308 & 328's & Porsches ) But less
camber on the road.
It pissed me off to find that the camber is non adjustable on such a sporty &
expensive car Will soon put Konis, new springs & 94 trailing arms in & lower it
maybe an inch. Have now got 16 x 7.5 wheels shod with road rubber & shall put some
Hoosiers on the 14" Toyota wheels for the track ( slicks with 2 lines down the
middle to make them street legal !!! ) I calculated 225/50 14 & 205/55 14 will
keep my gearing right. So I'm looking to kick some butt!!!
All the wankers on the road with their souped up V8's etc just make me laugh .
If there so good why don't they join a club & come down to the track ?
I'm still a member of the Alfa Romeo club & get invited to the meets via them
the MR2 club doesn't seem to get invited to many meets.... especially since this guy
wrote off his silver Mk II at Dunlop loop at Amaroo Park a few months ago !!! I
s'pose the ol' tail end went walkies!! Well I reckon we've all done it eh what? ..
if your into pushing the limits. Hope its not that spectacular though!
