Bought it this summer (1997) after having owned various VW Golf's during the past couple of years.
Yet I wasn't really happy....until I saw this beauty at a used car dealer. I don't know if it was the colour, but I fell in love instantly. I've never thought I could be happy living with a japanese (build car, that is..), but it seems like I can....
I have planned to do some minor changes on the car next year. So far I've used my time to get familiar with the nature of the car.
I may buy a supercharged engine next spring, and get a decent paintjob done...
Finally I can add that I use my MR2 everyday, and drive some 6-7000 kms per month.
