I am co-founder of the new michigan area MR2 club and a very avid autocrosser.  
Absolutly anyone interested in either or both of these feel free to contact me. 
I have owned my 91 Mr2 for 1 year. and I have finaly begun to gather the funds 
to begin the extensive list of performence mods.  Not that the car is lacking.  
I regularly finish within .3 sec of a porsche 944 turbo with race tires 
(I am currently without).  

Performence mods schedualed for the time being are:
-tokico shocks; full soft in front, full hard in back
-eibach lowering springs 
-larger 16" three peice wheels 
-larger vented rotors
-porterfeild autocross pads
-quicker ratio steering (if anyone knows more about this please tell me)
-K&N filter charger
-headers and free-flow exhaust
-P-chip
-Racaro seats
-4 point harness
-momo steering wheel
-larger throttle body
and maybe some day lighter flywheel, large turbo, lightened pistons, and big valves.
