And remember, no visit to Victoria would be complete without a short 
roadtrip up to (near) Nanaimo and The Bungee Zone.  You leap from a 
bridge in a narrow canyon to the water 140 feet below. You can even 
have them adjust your jump to include the river; just ask for "a wet 
one." Cost is about $100. (As of a couple of years ago. I haven't 
called this year. Yet.) Unfortunately we won't be there on Valentine's 
Day. On Feb. 14, they let you jump FREE...the catch is that you have to 
jump *nude*, but it is free. If I'm not mistaken, they get their 
revenues that day by charging the spectators.

So, next time your mom asks, "If your friends jumped off a bridge, 
would you wanna do that, too?" You can answer, "We did! I went first."
