Hi!

I replaced my rack bushing tonight. It took me about 1/2 hour to fix the
rack, and another 1.5 hrs to get it back in the car! I hate doing stuff like
this myself... it's always "under the car... ooops, need a wrench, out from
under the car, get wrench, back under the car.... " AAAARRRGGHHH!!!

Anyway, it was real easy, and I can't make my rack clunk on the bench any
more, and the movement I could see is gone. When I got it back in the car I
did my "test" and it was solid, so I believe I got the clunk!!! Yahooo!

The part number of the parts I ordered are as follows:

1) Bush, Steering Rack: 45522-17020, list $4.08, my price $3.26
2) Boot, Steering Rack: 45536-12011, list $26.25, my price $21.00
3) Spring, Rack Guide: 90501-26038, list $1.01, my price $.81
4) Seat, Rack Guide: 44277-17010, list $5.20, my price $4.16

You will probably only need #1 and maybe #2 if your boot is dried out. I
figured it was cheap insurance that I wouldn't have a rusty rack in the near
future. Thus I spent $29.23 and have the rack guide bushing and spring as
extras. Good luck!
