I cleaned up the install today, double checked everything and did a garage alignment. (Hey, I'm usually within .15 degrees on camber bye eyball.)
Time for an extended test drive.
First I drove it to fill up with premium. It had about 5 gallons of 87/97 mix in the tank already. I just took it easy on it for several miles. After the fill up, I got on it. >
It felt and sounded great, but didn't seem to have as much power/torque as my buddies lightly modded WRX. Well, luckily he was stopping by, so we went for another drive. I noticed that it is idling down about 750 now, also.
Second time around, we were easy for about 5 miles pass full warmup and then got on it. This thing is FAST. Real fast. I let my friend drive it home and he said it was comperable, if not a little faster than his car.
I'm going to get it dyno'd in the next week or two and we'll know for sure. Plus, I have a full set of gauges on the way this week: boost, oil pressure and oil temp.
