I ran the throttle cable straight to the throttle body instead of to the cruise control actuator. I had to remove a plastic spacer underneath the pedal, but otherwise, it works fine. If you don't remove the spacer, the cable will be a bit too short and the throttle will be partly engaged all of the time. I also still have the turbo cruise control actuator. I don't know if it's smaller or not, but you are welcome to try it.
