I've been very easy on the clutch. But the break-in period is for the clutch surfaces, not the TO bearing. The bearing has no role in how hard you launch the car. Now I have to drop my tranny again to replace a bullshit $40 part.
Let this be a warning to everone. The TO bearings that come with the Spec clutches are pure SHIT.
I heard that rumor floating around and chose to ignore it.
Do yourself a favor and buy an OEM bearing.
