the original emanage has a few notes that shold be made in the manual. note 1 - ignorte the install instructions and never even bother to hook up the TPS sensor. use the greedy MAP or a GM MAP sensor output to the TPS input. then you are actually tuning a load vs rpm graph. The other note is - get on the emanage user forums / groups and grab the datalogging software someone wrote there. Follow the instructions to feed a wideband output into the emanage and datalog it along with all your other desired parameters. There are 2 air flow measurement inputs, most poeple find air #2 to be a good input. note 3 - also get teh autotune program so you cna take the datalog you just created, and have it create a new map for you which attempots to reach target A/F ratios. ie you tune by setting up a map of target a/f ratios, not additional injection time or altering the AFM input.
note4 - the greedy map and the gm map or any other map can all be used. the annoying connector on the top of the unit can be found in many places.. note5 - dont get all the harnesses. the harnesses are just wires with terminals on the end that slide into one of the other harnesses. Sicne it comes set up with enough wires to do a lot more than you need, you can move some wires and get both fuel and ignition for the price of 1. The laptop to unit cable is a serial port thing that no laptops have serial ports for.. so buy a 3rd party usb to emanage cable for 1/3rd the price.
