Working my butt off just for the deuce so im pretty sure It will have some, ALOT of value to me. Its not my first car im going to drive but first car I am buying. Ive had my licsence for a while now and I drive safely, I dont feel the need for kicking it like other newbe drivers that try to look cool. I know how 2's are "dangerous" cars. Ive driven 1 a couple of times, My cousin has 1. I think you shouldnet give a 16 yr old a fast/expensive car just out of nowhere, then they have got no value for it. But im going to take very good care of it, drive it safely, and autoX it to learn how to drive it. Then I'll know how to handle it on the road running with a bit more potential. Also about the idea of acting "cool" with friends, that wont be a problem for me, none of us, my friends are appealed by the ricer community. I know what should and sholdnt be done on the road, and whats going too far.

Congrats on your impending purchase, we expect pictures when you get it home : )
As for the other stuff, I agree 100% about not giving kids sports cars, but if they work for it and buy it themselves why not. I think the MR2 is a great first car for kids who have common sense.
Just a quick question. acting cool wont be a problem for you because your friends find the ricer community appealing? MR2s can be ricey too sometimes
