When the problem was first noticed it should have been addressed.. whether you fix the coolant leak yourself or send the car/engine back to get fixed.

You paid for your engine etc., and had the work done. This doesnt mean that you do not have to take care of the car and maintain it.

I think it was a big mistake racing, when a problem was known.
A lot of this was covered on the other board, but there are almost 400 posts, so I can't quote everyone of them.

1) The cam timing was WAY out of whack due to a tensioner that was not working properly. Fine tuning would not have fixed it. It needed to be completly re-timed.

2) Most of the problems I had, Chrisk told me not to worry about.
It blew b/c it was losing coolant. I thought it might be from the cooling system, so I replaced that. It was still losing coolant when boosting.

3) Chrisk promised me that he would take care of me. He did not. He lied about it. He also lied about other problems/errors that he caused. Even when faced with overwhelming proof, he still denied it and tried pointing fingers elsewhere.

I took very good care of the car. I did not race the car when I knew about problems. If I knew about a problem I fixed it first, otherwise I found out about the problem afterwards.

I changed the oil and filter with Mobil1 Sythetic after every race. I also checked the fluids inbetween sessions.

How many people do you know that check their fluids every 30 minutes or 50 miles, and change their oil every month or 500 miles?

The main reason for my post is that Chrisk needs to own up to his mistakes and make them right. Even if you ignore the other problems I had, he definately messed up the IAT sensor and Vacuum Lines. There is no doubt about it, yet he still denies that there where any problem with the car when it left his place. Instead he tries to blame it on the shippers.

After having the rebuild, install, and tune done by Chrisk the second time, it should have been 100% perfect, especially for the amount of money I paid him, especially after buying the new motor less than a year before. It ended up not being perfect.
I sold the car to Garrett of Wolfkatz after less than 1000 miles on the new motor. He started tearing down the motor to fix the valve train noise.
He found numerous problems with this engine. It should have been perfect since it was practically brand new from Chrisk. Obviously it was not.
