Hi Adam,
We haven't tested the CT27 on a JDM Gen 2 for obvious reasons. That means my answer is essentially "bench racing", even though it is based on known facts.

The JDM gen 2 gets the extra 21bhp from additional timing advance, and running slightly higher boost. The JDM ceramic CT26 is no more capable than the US spec one, while being considerably more fragile, due to the ceramic turbine.

I would expect to see comparable gains on a Jap-spec gen 2 motor to what we saw on the U.S. one.
