The clutch disk that came off of my motor was pretty standard looking. I am certain it was the original one.
It was pretty worn, so I replaced it with a nicer 5sfe clutch disk that I had. The 5sfe clutch disk was the exact same diameter as the beams flywheel friction surface and the original disk. It appears to be the exact same clutch disk.
The only reason they would introduce a totally different disk is if they changed the spline on the transmission, or the diameter of the gripping surface on the flywheel. I have not heard of them doing either with the 3sge or s5x transmission, so that part number change is probably not a big deal.
