I've been meaning to update that page for a while.

The information is all accurate but there is so much more that I need to add to it. You will probably want to reference the original so that you have the most up to date version.
http://warp.scl.utah.edu/mr2/Turbo5sfe.html I will be expanding in over the next little while.
I have seen them done anywhere from $600-2000 for the basic ct-26 setup. It really depends on what kind of deals you can get for the parts. If you decide to go this route, do your research and learn how it all works because you will be your own mechanic. Do a search of the boards and read everything you can about the 5sfte. Start with a working, well maintained engine and make sure you do it right from the start. So many setups have failed because of stupid things like oil leaks or people thinking that they can mix and match turbos and injectors without tuning or neglect the timing aspect of it.
A 5sfte is definitely cheaper then a 3sgte swap but you will not have most of the engine safety features that come with a 3sgte and you are on your own for support in most cases. The people on the boards will be your best source for troubleshooting problems. It is also a great learning experience.
Last thing... have a spare car just in case you run into problems.
