I thought the two motors used the same basic idle control valve? The stepper motor on the blacktop TB was something else, not controled by the rsd pin.
That stepper motor and the extra vvti solenoid are the biggest obstacles to getting this to work. An aftermarket ecu should be less picky about missing stuff.
I guess the only way to know for sure is to pin it up and see how it works. The pinouts didn't seem too different.
