gen3 PFC into a '91 gen2 how to

Hi all

I’m putting up a how to wire a Gen3 PFC in a ’91-92 USDM gen2
I get so many emails asking for this info info , makes me feel like a PFC guru (which I’m not).
You must double check the wiring using the BGB and the wiring diagram below

To make the gen3 PFC work in the gen2 (WITHOUT THE DATALOGIT) you must install these extra sensors:

• Gen3 mapsensor
• Gen3 Toyota Mass Air Temperature sensor
• Gen 2 Intake Air Temperature sensor( this is the black sensor under the engine decklid)

If you also have the Datalogit (a big plus) you need :
• Any map sensor you want (I’m using a $50 GM 3 bar) ,Apexi 3bar, gen2 ,gen3, AEM , You just need to change the scale and offset un the datalogit settings#3
• Gen3 Toyota Mass Air Temperature sensor
• Gen 2 Intake Air Temperature sensor( this is the black sensor under the engine decklid)

Here is how you wire the sensors in
The IAT you can splice into the AFM wires #5 & #7 ,or you can use new wires and connect them to THA &E2
The mat sensor you connect to THG & E 2

Then there are 14 wires you need to move around .
Most of them you can just open up the plug they are in insert a paperclipe ,pull the wire out and install it in the correct plug location

closed plug:

open the plug clip:

insert paperclipe from this side

Some pins are of a different size so they wont fit in the 'new' socket .In that case you cut the wire and solder it to the wire in the correct position

Here is how I refer the wires to:

> means :move to

A8->A12 (TPC)
B4->A8 (EGR)
A12->A9 (G2)
A13->A10 (NE)
A17->B17 (KNK)
B12->B9 (G1)
B5->A4 (RSO)
B10->B30 (FC)
B14->B10 (G-)
B17->A20 (PIM)
A25->B24 (ABS)
B29->B26 (CF)
B30->A25 (ATS)
A27->B14 (FPR)
MAT sensor to B20 (THG) and B21 (E2)
AIT to A19 (THA)
There are 4 left over wires from the Gen2 Loom:
STJ, VS, TVIS, THA1, THG
