Hey Guys,
My 4AGE has 80k on it, I am looking for a GZE that I am confident will be healthy, But I do not want to spend 1200$ on such an old engine that I am probably going to kill in a relatively short amount of time. Meanwhile I would like to start collecting/fabbing parts for boosting this engine, My question is what would my shopping list look like to boost my 4AGE? I realize without any internal mods it wont last,and thats OK,I want to use my 4AGE as sort of a guinea pig before investing a larger sum of money boosting the GZE so that when the time comes My GZE to GTE project can be built correctly and live as long a life as it possibly can.The Only Turbo Vehicle i have ever owned was my 89 Supra, I had that car for 6 months when it developed rod knock, at that point I ordered a 7MGTE from japan and swapped it myself which wasnt all that bad considering the harness was not cut.So basically this will be my first NA to Turbo venture.I am aware i will need such things as Megasquirt ,fabbed turbo manifold Etc.To sum up my post if you can provide me with A. NA to Turbo shopping list B.Any links/write ups/websites regarding the actual labor involved and where the Turbo parts came from and C. What to expect throughout the process from guys who had to start somewhere like me and know what I am getting Myself into

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I will be using this thread as my guide to getting this done so please be constructive
