Since my OBX down/B-pipe fits so horribly ... I've been thinking now's the time to improve upon it. Let me run this past you guys:
I'm thinking cut it off at the flanges of the b-pipe (the collectors are 2.25") ... basically to salvage the flanges -> going to a 2.25" X pipe under the crossmember -> merge with a Y-pipe after the X-pipe -> going to my Apexi GT catback (what's left of it). The front/rear banks won't be equal length though to the X-pipe, will that really make a HUGE difference for a stock 1MZ though?
I'll draw it out later tonight.
I like the headers themselves, they're much smaller and clear the shift cables nicely. The rest is craaaaapola... I would not reccomend anyone buy these. I'd be so pissed if I was a Solara/Camry owner trying to bolt these on over a weekend. It's just not possible.
