How to remove tranny?

Motor is on the ground, I pulled off all 9 bolts anything else I'm missing or is it just really hard to pull off?

you need 2 long pry bars and someone to hold the trany. if its a automatic trany you need to unbolt the torqu converter first. some times you have to drive a chisle or wedge betwean the block and bell housing to even get it to start.

I don't think he has a torque converter, but taking the transmission off meets a bit of resistance usually.

I usually take a prybar, and split the two in one place just slightly. I then move to the other side of the motor, and do the same. I go back and forth a few times, and that gets it without forcing anything.

You should not have to force anything tremendously hard. If you do, there's probably something still holding on.

That is true, to crack it a bit and get your prybar in there can require a hammer sometimes.

Living up north, you probably have to know all kinds of tricks for breaking rusty stuff loose.

Well.. I'm using cave men tools so I'm gonna let it sit for a while. Right now I"m trying to take off the 16V trans. Gotta practice cause I don't want to break anything important. I'm a self proclaimed mechanical retard. Right now i'm working on taking of the Intake manifold so that I can get to some stuff that is still holding the trans to the motor. *But first I have to saw off my bpipe. Cause it is in my way.*
