I'd say it improves over the 16v at all rpms. Doesn't have the lowend that the 4agze does, but I prefer it to the gze.

My Google Map

I had 133whp stock.. so did a few others here on the same day, same dyno. All Blacktop in FWD Corolla's, all with C56 gearbox.

After that I upgraded to 2.5" catback and 75mm stacks from TechnoToyTuning.. improved power to 145whp.

Stock :

Tuned : (145whp after ECU reset..)

This is what it sounds/souned like onboard :
Excuse my poor driving.

I have some 4AGZE at the wheel dyno graphs on my garage page. Here is a link to a dyno graph comparison of pre-mods / post-mods of the 4AGZE. The before plot is mostly stock and can be compared to the 20V 4AGE dyno plot above.

From both graphs it shows this:

1.The 20v has more torque from 2k rpm all the way up.
2.The 20v has more HP +20 up to +30hp all the way up.
So this would mean that the 20v would have more bottom end grunt and top end hp than the gze at all rpm levels.
Hmmm....

Careful. The torque curves between the 4AGE 20V and 4AGZE are in different units. The 4AGE 20V is in N-m while the 4AGZE dyno is in ft-lbs. Also, looking at the HP graphs, I put the stock 4AGZE slightly ahead in HP until about 5500 RPM. I should also mention that my supercharger belt was starting to slip at about 6200 RPM.

Oops did not notice that. What the hell is a newton? hehe. Would be nice to get some good graphs side by side of completely stock well running configurations.
