3 bolts for exhaust manifold enough?

I am using the stock exhaust manifold due to lack of funds. I cant afford the b-pipe for the 20v header yet and my dad doesnt have access to the welder at work doing what he is doing for another 2 months so I'm hoping that 3 bolts will work for the time being. (sorry for the run-on sentence).

I welded up the rest of the exhaust tonight and have it just test fit on currently. I'll put the gaskets in tomorrow and bolt it down and see how it works. I just want suggestions and opinions on what you guys think about the temp/lazy way around this.

You can mod the 16v header to make the other 2 bolts fit.

With the one on the timingbelt side, you can put the bolt just on the edge of the flange lip.

With the one on the tranny side, you have to trim the flange back. You have to do this anyway as the water pipe interferes with the manifold flange.

Use your 20v exhaust manifold gasket as a template.

I did what you said on the timing belt side. Then I had to grind the transmission side down to get it to fit. It's holding right now with 4 and it's a temperary thing till my dad goes back to his old job.

The only thing left to do on this thing started is spark plugs. The ones that are in there are black and I cant keep the car running so hopefully replacing them will allow it to start.

Thanks mr220v for all of your help throughout this project.
