I vote for the 5VZ because coming from the 4runner background. The 3VZ have a lot of problem with HG, and it's sooo weak (at least in the 4runner). 5VZ is also almost indestructable, and the extra torque is always nice to help propel the MR2.

3vzFE wasnt in the 4runner iirc it was only the sohc 3vz. Chalk and cheese.
