Of course, if you have a 3rd gen, it shud run fine with an aftermarket bov as long as it works properly and doesnt leak. I have both, an early model HKS bov that works perfect and a $250 HKS SSQV. I hated the more expensive HKS SSQV's sound, it sounded like a mouse squeak (squeeek!!!)and would let off no matter how low I was in the powerband (car ran like shit), where the early model sounds good but nothing too ricy, kinda like a sneeze.

by stock ecu do you mean if i hook up my AFC2 and tune it the BOV shouldn't make the motor run rich when i shift?
