adesorgo: You can go FI on a Mk3 with either the 1ZZ or 2ZZ motors; the 1ZZ gets about 250 reliably (as I recall) and the 2ZZ gets just over 300, but being 300-600 lbs lighter, this car doesn't need as much power to go just as fast.
