Yeah, visual could be a pain. Last smog I did was great (cause it cost me $25, special deal) but they were really really picky about the visual, wanted to triple check this inlet on the pipe to the throttle body (I respect that, they are protecting themselves). I am begginging to have a change of heart; I have discovered the 3SGTE makes 140lbs-ft of torque at about 2000 rpm- and that's the peak torque of 4agze. What with that discovery and this whole CARB thing, starting off high becomes increasingly important- I can't tune up high cause of CARB! I think I may just decide to go 3SGTE after all. Time for boatloads of research, and some extra funding. I wonder if it's worth it to go w/ 3rd gen 3SGTE... I've found the 225hp version of 3SGTE for just $150 more than the 4agze woulda cost me. Put another way, is 20 hp worth $400-800?
